An unusually large Scottish sycamore four-lugged quaich or food bowl, probably 17th century

The reeded body on shallow tapered foot - 7in. (18 cm) wide; 2.3/4in. (7 cm) high

Condition:

Some small old minor chips to the rim. Some old discoloured staining in areas to the inner side of the bowl. Other than this minor wear and tear consistent with the quaich’s age and use.
