A bone model of a late 19th century steam ship, early 20th century

The fully rigged solid hull construction veneered with brass pinned bone panels, the well detailed deck including three masts, central funnel, handrail, hatches, windlass, eight ships boats, the hull later painted gold, with mahogany stand and glazed display case with sliding glass panel for access, the model - 29in. (74 cm) long; 16.1/2in. (42 cm) high; the case - 23in. (58.5 cm) high; 17.1/2in. (44.5 cm) wide; 38.3/4in. (98.5 cm) long.

Condition: Minor losses and wear and tear, appears relatively intact. The hull later painted.
