A large George II lignum vitae pounce pot, circa 1750
Of typical baluster form - 4.3/4in. (12 cm) high; 3.7/8in. (9.8 cm) diameter
Condition:
A small old chip to the base rim. Traces of the original varnish overall. The underside with a threaded aperture, suggesting it was originally mounted on a standish.
