A Victory commemorative oak snuff box

The cover inset with a silver gilt plaque inscribed Victory, England expects that every man will do his duty -- 3.5/8in. (9.2 cm)

The oak used to make this snuff box, was probably taken from HMS Victory’s quarter deck steps when restored in the middle of the 19th century. 

Condition: No obvious damages.
